The uppermost part of the spinal cord is called the cervical region. When the lower cells of the throat and its joints are damaged, the neck swells, due to which the branches of the cervical region start getting pressed, this is called cervical spondylosis.
Causes
Working with the head bent for a long time in the wrong way.
Sleeping with a thick pillow or lifting more weight than required.
Due to injury or accident or excessive stress.
Symptoms
Stiffness in the neck and shoulders.
The patient feels dizzy when the neck is bent back or the head is bent down.
Difficulty in walking or increased pain at the back of the neck while getting up in the morning.
Treatment
A simple medicine for spondylosis is lime. The patient can eat 1-2 grams of lime in the morning with curd, buttermilk or mixed in water.
